Chapter 9

• "Why not? You are my wife," he said, looking at her. She shrugged her shoulders uncomfortably and began to eat.
• "My brother lives here. He just moved to the UK for a while and has returned. Your room used to be his and still is, so he's taking it back," he explained.
• "But the house has six rooms—three upstairs and three downstairs. Why can't I just take one of the other rooms? Why do I have to share?" she asked, still puzzled about why she had never heard about his brother.
