• "It's okay, Catherine," Charlotte said over the phone, trying to reassure her friend for what felt like the millionth time. Ever since they had told Catherine about Chase going to prison, she wouldn't stop talking about it. "It's okay," Charlotte consoled, as she walked towards her room, but Chase pulled her back and took the phone from her hand, surprising her.
• "Thanks, Cat, but it's late, and we gotta go," he said, hanging up the phone and stretching it out to her.
• "Thank you," she said, as he turned and began to walk away, but then paused as a loud thud came from Diane's room. Chase turned back around, a questioning look on his face.
