Chapter 51

• Chris woke up to his mother's screams that night, fear gripping him. He decided to rush to check on her when he heard his father's voice yell, causing him to stop abruptly in shock. He snuck into the living area and saw his father slap his mother, which made him furious.
• Knowing that rushing out wasn’t a good idea, he pulled out his phone, moved away, and called 911. By the time he returned, his mother was pinned against the wall and being raped. Her cries echoed in his head as he looked around the room in panic and spotted a flower vase. He grabbed it, pulled the flowers out, and rushed at Donald, smashing the glass vase over his head. Catherine dropped to the floor.
• "Christopher, get away from him!" His mother's voice was filled with terror. Donald dashed towards Chris and punched him in the face.
