Chapter 85

• Elizabeth stormed back into her hotel room, furious after her encounter with Chase. She flung her bag onto the bed and began pacing around the room, her mind racing with ways to get some privacy with him without interruption. She eventually collapsed onto the bed, overcome with sadness as her heart broke at the realization that there was another woman in Chase's life.
• Feeling uncomfortable and trapped in her own emotions, she peeled off her clothes and stepped into the shower. As she stood under the warm water, she let out a deep sigh, allowing the droplets to cascade down her back and ease her tension.
