Chapter 82
- Damien strolled through the hotel's opulent halls, his mind racing with thoughts of Elizabeth. Since their encounter, he couldn't shake off the image of her bright smile, her hair shining like gold in the sunlight, and her infectious enthusiasm that drew him in. He felt a pang of frustration, annoyed at himself for being so captivated by her presence.
- Seeking a distraction, Damien made his way to the hotel bar, taking a seat on one of the plush stools. The bartender, a friendly man with a warm smile, greeted him. "What can I get you, sir?"
- Damien hesitated, his thoughts still wandering back to Elizabeth. "Something strong," he replied finally, his voice low and husky.
