• Mia watched in despair as Liam succumbed to overwhelming sadness. He sat for hours, staring blankly at a wall, as she tried everything in her power to bring him back to his old self, but to no avail. The pain in her heart grew with each passing moment.
• "Liam, please," she said softly, "don't you want to go out? Meet Chase? Plan your dad's funeral?" She asked, but he remained silent, lost in his thoughts. "You can't stay in here all day," she urged, but he just continued to stare into space, his eyes empty and lifeless.
• "Okay, I'll leave you alone to rest," she said finally, her voice cracking with emotion as she walked out slowly. She paced back and forth in the living room, guilt washing over her like a tidal wave. She knew Charlotte was taking the blame for Mr. Benjamin's death, and that was exactly what she had wanted. But now, she regretted it, seeing the pain it caused Liam. Her love for him overpowered her desire to hurt her sister.
