Chapter 90

• Heather was running out of ideas, and her frustration was growing. Everything she had done to hurt Mr. Benjamini had turned out to be fruitless, and she was starting to feel desperate. She thought back to the time she had run into Jim and how he hadn't even recognized her, which only added to her anger. But then, she made up her mind to take a different approach. This time, she was determined to make sure Mr. Benjamini knew it was her, and that she was going to hurt him deeply.
• Meanwhile, in a coffee shop, Elizabeth said to Mia, "Hey, talk fast. My man is waiting for me." Mia replied, "That's sweet," as she watched Elizabeth grab the menu from the table and begin to scan it. "What are you doing? It's a coffee shop. Just order coffee," Mia said, raising an eyebrow. Elizabeth replied, "They have other stuff," and signaled the waiter. "A cup of coffee, please," she said, as the waiter nodded and left. Mia rolled her eyes good-naturedly.
• But then, Elizabeth's expression turned serious. "Tell me, what's your plan?" Mia asked, her curiosity piqued. Elizabeth's eyes narrowed. "I want to kill her, get her out of the way forever." Mia's eyes widened in surprise. "Even for you, that's too sinister," she said. "You must really want this man." Elizabeth's face was set in determination. "Let me finish. We won't harm her, but we need to find something that will make Chase lose his trust in her forever. And then, he'll have no choice but to fall straight into my arms."
