• See, that wasn’t so bad, Maggie said as she and Charlotte walked out of the gym. She had convinced Charlotte that going to the gym would take her mind off Chase. He had been asleep because of the medication, and Charlotte had just been sitting there, watching him.
• “Yeah, yeah, just hurry up,” Charlotte replied, still panting.
• Stop being in such a hurry. We both know he’s still going to be asleep when we get back. Relax. Didn’t you enjoy going to the gym? Maggie asked.
