Chapter 99
- Cynthia sat quietly in the hospital room next to her younger sister, Lilian. The area was filled with the gentle sound of machines and the soft footsteps of nurses walking by in the corridor. Lilian sat up in bed, slowly eating warm porridge. - "Your heartbeat is normal," he said with a faint smile. "And your lungs are clear. Let me check your eyes."
