Chapter 70 Seventy

• Serena froze, her hand falling from her head as she looked up to see Donato walking towards her. Her heart dropped to her stomach as she realised he must have taken the other side of the building to end up here in front of her.
• Serena took steps back, looking down to see that she was near the stairs.
• She looked at Donato's face twisted with a sinister grin, his eyes cold and gleaming with malice. He chuckled darkly, the sound sending a shiver down Serena's spine. "I knew you were going to try something stupid," he said and before she could react, he reached out and grabbed her roughly by the arm.
