• It was later in the evening, the room bathed in the golden glow of the fancy bedside lamp. Serena had settled into bed, her fingers flying across the screen of her new phone as she tried to set it up. She had a nice day she here she was, excited, waiting for Adonis to come in so she could thank him for the gift.
• Soon , she heard the door open, and Adonis walked in. His eyes scanned the room, his gaze lingering on her for a moment before he looked away.
