Chapter 29 Twenty Nine

• Serena's eyes fluttered close at the feel of his soft lips pressed on hers. He didn't move or deepen the kiss, yet Serena's heart was literally pounding in her ears. The gentle pressure of his lips sent shivers down her spine, and she felt her entire body relax into the touch. When he pulled away, he used his thumb to stroke her lower lip, sending a spark of electricity through her body.
• Adonis saw how wide her pretty eyes were before she turned red and hastily rose to her feet. "G-get some rest now," she stuttered, and she scrambled to take the stuff she used before dashing away into the bathroom. Adonis watched her go, a slight smirk curling on his lips. She's cute, he thought, feeling a pang of amusement.
• He laid on the bed carefully. Once he felt comfortable, he sighed softly. His hand subconsciously reached up, and he touched his lips, feeling the ghost of Serena's lips still lingering on his skin. The spark he'd felt when he'd kissed her, it was like he's never kissed her before. It was a strange, tingling sensation that left him feeling... off-balance.
