Chapter 34 Thirty Four

• Adonis spent the rest of his day immersed in work, and when dinner time arrived, he made his way to the dining room. However, upon entering, he noticed that only his food was set. He asked Freya to call Serena down for dinner, but Freya informed him that she had already eaten.
• Adonis nodded and began to eat his meal. After dinner, he retired to their bedroom, where Serena was fast asleep. As he lay beside her, he couldn't help but wonder how she had spent her day while he was busy with work.
• Adonis's gaze fell upon her peaceful face, and he felt an overwhelming urge to touch her. He didn't resist it this time. He moved closer, gently tucking her hair behind her ear. Then, he began to softly stroke her temple with his thumb.
