• ​“My Lady, you’ve been in this room for two days now… Why not go out? I mean, we can go to the cafe,” Lily said with concern. She had noticed how distant Elara had become lately. She was reading more books than usual, rarely spoke, and was constantly muttering the words soul bonds under her breath.
• ​“I mean, you even refuse to see the Alpha… are you okay? Did Miss Lyra do something again?” Lily asked while handing Elara another thick volume from the shelf.
• ​“Lily, what do you know about soul bonds?” Elara asked, flipping through the yellowed pages. Lily frowned and sat down on the couch, seeing as Elara was sitting directly on the carpet, surrounded by scrolls. She certainly enjoyed reading, more like being obsessed with reading.
