Chapter 171 The Full Moon Effect

  • While the celebrations went on in the darkest part of the Silver-Moon pack, hidden away from sight in a dark, small room without any windows, a small figure lay on the cold, wet floor, chained heavily. Her clothes were torn, and she was covered in blood. Her legs were covered in fresh wounds that oozed. Her breath hitched as her pulsing head made it impossible for her to open her eyes.
  • “W-water,” the words escaped her chapped lips, which had not touched water for days. Her stomach growled with need. She shifted, trying to get up, but she was too weak to move.
  • Suddenly, the heavy door groaned open. She knew too well what that meant; heavy footsteps approached. That scent she had come to fear invaded her nostrils. Fear engulfed her when, unexpectedly, ice-cold water was poured on her. She screamed in agony as it burned her skin. She shook violently. The water wasn't just any water…they had put silver in it. Each time it stung so badly that her wounds opened up again.
