Chapter 113 Fallen For The Enemy

• Nina straightened up, making sure she looked presentable. She smoothed her dress and proceeded toward the Alpha’s study with a tray in her hand. She was determined to reach him while he was vulnerable. Just as she reached the door and was about to knock, someone grabbed her unexpectedly. She was dragged away with such force that the hot coffee mug on the tray spilled all over her arms. She winced in agony, the scalding liquid burning her skin.
• ​“Let go of me!” Nina yelled as she fought to get away, but her captor didn't stop until they were far from the study and away from prying eyes. Mike slammed her against the wall of a cramped, dark room, knocking the tray from her hands.
• ​“What do you think you're doing, huh?” Mike growled. He grabbed her by the neck, tightening his grip until Nina began to cough and gasp for air. She clawed at his hand, desperate for a breath.
