• “Get out!” Lyra yelled as she shoved the tray of soup away. It hit the floor with a heavy thud, the hot liquid splashing everywhere. The servant girls dropped to their knees, trembling and pleading.
• “How dare you… get the fuck out!” Lyra shouted, but the effort left her coughing and gasping for air. She tore at everything around her, hurling blankets and sheets onto the floor. She swept the nightstand clear, sending her medications scattering into the mess.
• “She tried to kill me, but he did nothing!” Lyra collapsed onto the floor, clutching her chest as her eyes burned with rage. The servants remained frozen, heads bowed in terror. The door burst open, and Dara rushed in. Seeing the carnage, she signaled the servants to flee; they scrambled out instantly. The door slammed shut as Dara hurried to Lyra’s side.
