Chapter 139 Lured Her There
- Elara’s heart pounded loudly against her chest as she hurried after the girl with a hoodie. She didn't use the normal exit but used the dark forest route. She had been to this part of the packhouse and it was restricted, the last time she went there was when she thought she saw Nina and she was about to get raped by vicious wolves. Now she was sweating under the hot sun as she rushed past the old, tall trees. This part of the forest was damp with rotting leaves and fallen trees. The girl was moving at a high speed, obviously using her wolf speed. Elara came to a halt to catch her breath; her hand moved instantly to her belly. Her sharp eyes darted around to realize she was way deep in the forest.
- “I know you are here… come out now!” Elara! she shouted breathlessly as her eyes turned deadly. She took a step forward, trying to use her wolf senses to locate the culprit. She had masked her scent, and Elara could hardly pick up the real thing.
- “I can hear you… stop playing mind games… I know what you did… I also know you tried to kill me once!” Elara shouted again, her voice echoing throughout the vast place. The last time she was attacked with snakes and poison, she picked up the same scent, although it was faint. But now she swore this person had something to do with it. Just as she was about to follow up, a figure emerged from the dark trees. Elara was already in a defensive position, her eyes flashing a deep red. Ready to fight. The person's face was completely covered.
