Chapter 128 Risked Her Life

• ​When Elara regained consciousness, she found herself restrained with chains on her legs and arms. She tried to move, but she couldn't. The place was dark, without any sort of light… but it looked like a big room with old equipment and trapdoors. She wasn't alone; Silas was there, standing in a corner.
• ​“I really underestimated you…” Silas remarked as he walked closer to her. Elara didn't bother to look at him. “With the other poison in your body and the drug I gave you… you still are…” he added as he used his dagger to move hair off her face. Elara turned her head away.
• ​“Did those fools ever give you the right dose? Those snakes weren't so deadly… I should have killed them myself,” Silas spat out as he straightened up. Elara’s eyes narrowed suspiciously. Did Silas plot that? Did he send those people to harm her?
