• “Are you okay… did he hurt you?” Kai rushed toward Elara, who was busy arranging some dishes. He had heard what Elijah did and came running. Elara was startled when Kai grabbed her by the shoulders and turned her around.
• “Calm down already,” she said, seeing how he was breathing heavily. “I'm fine… he didn't do anything.” She smiled, seeing how agitated he looked. Kai did not have it as he inspected her to make sure she was not harmed.
• “Maybe you should come and stay with me for a while… my villa is open for you.” He suggested as he led her to sit down. Elara stared at him in amusement. This big brother of hers was acting all protective. She loved this side of him…to know she finally had someone to protect her and look after her.
