- “How annoying,” she mulled as she splashed some cold water on her face. She threw up a couple of times but still felt terrible and weak. This didn't happen with her first pregnancy. Maybe Angelo was right; this baby was somehow different.
- “Not again,” she said, and before she could avoid it, she gagged her heart out as she threw up more. She felt her gut twisting with each cough she made. She gripped the sink to prevent herself from falling. After some time, she leaned forward with her eyes closed. She had to get back to the table and ask Alpha Fenris to take her home, or maybe even to the hospital for a checkup. As she turned the tap on to wash her hands, the door to the restroom opened. Since she was alone, she didn't think much as she fixed her hair. But when she glanced up to look at her pale reflection, she jumped in fright. She turned around to meet a strange man in a dark suit.
