Chapter 153 No Mercy

• “Who do you think you are to touch her!” Alpha Fenris’s lethal voice echoed throughout the hall with such force that the nearby guards collapsed to their knees and lowered their heads. Nikolai remained seated, nonchalantly sipping his wine.
• “She tried to kill her friend… a criminal must be… taught a lesson,” Nikolai replied disdainfully, but Alpha Fenris was not having it. “Are you that blind to see that girl is nothing but trouble, huh!” Nikolai yelled as he smashed his wine glass on the floor, sending shards skittering across the stone. He surged to his feet, his posture radiating a domineering, intimidating heat.
• “No one is allowed to touch her… not even you. If anything happens to her… I'll make you pay!” Alpha Fenris growled with a ferocity that left Nikolai utterly shocked; his nephew was baring his teeth and issuing a direct threat.
