• ​Elara remained frozen in place, her mind struggling to register the sight before her. Lyra pulled back from the kiss and glanced over her shoulder. Elara saw it then…the unmistakable glint of triumph in Lyra's eyes. Elara’s gaze met the Alpha’s, but his expression was a blank wall of stone. He didn't react. He didn't push her away. He just sat there.
