Chapter 82
- Lyssa's POV:
- "She's awake, she's awake." Those were the words I was hearing from the voices of people as it echoed in my head. Trying to blink my eyes, the reflection of light coming from the opened window blinded me as I finally opened them. What welcomed me were blurry faces of smiling people. "Thank you, moon goddess," said one of the ladies as I watched her place a cold towel on my forehead. "Go call the king, his wife is finally awake." Wife? I didn't understand what was going on. I just didn't. Were they actually referring to me as the king's wife? All I could do was stare without saying a word.
- Shortly, the king approached. He walked with a regal air, his presence commanding attention. He was tall and broad-shouldered, with piercing alluring eyes that seemed to see right through me. His black hair fell in soft waves around his face, framing strong, chiselled features. I couldn't deny that he was handsome, incredibly so. The way his royal attire emphasised his muscular physique only added to his allure.
