Chapter 115

• As the morning sun gently filtered through the curtains, Alpha Garrett slowly woke from his sleep. Restless, his mind immediately drifted to Maria, replaying the previous hours encounter in his thoughts. Regret filled his heart as he realised how harshly he had treated her, pushing her away with his attitude. Now that she was gone, the emptiness in his gut grew as he admitted to himself that he would not get to see her again.
• Sitting up in bed, Garrett spoke to himself in a low murmur, "I shouldn't have driven her away like that. She didn't deserve it." His thoughts were consumed by Maria.
• He decided he needed to see Maria again, to make amends for his behaviour. Grabbing his phone, he called his driver, the same one who had dropped Maria off at her place the day before. He knew the driver would be able to take him to Maria's house.
