Chapter 35

• As we got into my room, Alpha Garrett sat without saying a word as his eyes gazed at me. I felt somewhat uncomfortable when suddenly, his voice broke the silence. "You have someone to help you grant your wishes now, I guess." His words made me look up to him as he continued. "I saw the way you both hugged, sang and even laughed at that stage."
• "It's not what you think," I tried to defend. I went ahead to explain to him that the boy was my childhood friend who we lost contact with 3 years ago, and I was just happy to see him tonight.
• "Are you jealous?" I questioned, but instead of giving me a reply, my Alpha Garrett stood up and walked out of my room. Confusion and worry filled me, and I hurried after him, calling his name as he made his way down the hallway.
