Chapter 19

• The next day, I was feeling very excited, hoping to see my Alpha Garrett. I can no longer hide the fact that I am suddenly feeling happy whenever I am with him. Just then, I heard a knock on my door and then, the male servant greeted me with a smile.
• “Good morning Miss, the master asked that I ask you to come downstairs. Breakfast is served.” He said and I nodded and jumped off the bed. Using the elevator, I got to the ground floor, seeing a variety of food on the table. My eyes looked around, searching for my Alpha Garrett but I saw no trace of him as my mood changed from happy to sad. Maybe he will join me soon. I concluded as I tried to return my mood back to happiness.
• The moment I sat down, another male servant approached me and greeted me as he broke the sad news to me. “The master had informed me last night to tell you this morning about his trip. He had gone last night and will be back in two weeks.” The servant immediately walked away the moment he delivered the sad news to me and instantly, I felt a loss of appetite.
