• Lyssa's POV:
• I got home, feeling a sense of calm wash over me. My phone hasn't rung yet, which wasn't surprising considering it was a new phone and a new SIM card. Michael probably didn't have my contact details yet, explaining why he hadn't called me since I left. I undressed and stood in front of the mirror, taking a moment to stare at my reflection. After a while, I walked into the bathroom and enjoyed a soothing shower under the warm water.
• Stepping out with a towel wrapped around me, I changed into my comfortable sleeping dress and settled onto my bed with my phone in hand. Opening Instagram, I noticed a message from Michael. He expressed how he had been trying to reach out to me but remembered my Instagram page. His messages questioned why I had left before he came back, apologising if he had wronged me in any way, although I knew he hadn't.
