• Tension clouded the luxurious meeting room where Oliver sat with his uncle and two cousins. Oliver’s face was a mixture of confusion and bewilderment at his uncle’s words. He had just reached for his coffee, freshly brought in by the secretary, when his uncle stopped him. He couldn’t fathom what his uncle was thinking.
• “Uncle, why would you think something like that?” Shawn and Marcel demanded at once, both seeking an explanation. They looked confused by their uncle’s accusation. Everything had seemed fine just moments earlier.
• Oliver gave Dominic a hard look, his dark brown eyes demanding answers from his uncle. “I don’t understand, Uncle. Why are you saying someone put something in my drink? How do you know? You’ve been here with us the whole time.”
