Chapter 30 The Surprise

• “Oliver, your parents liked me, right?” Shania asked as Oliver dropped her off at her mansion. Her expression revealed how eager she was for an answer. Earlier, when she said her goodbyes, Oliver’s parents had said nothing to her. She’d expected them to discuss her upcoming wedding with Oliver, but reality hadn’t matched her expectations.
• “Get out. Tomorrow, we still have to meet my grandparents.” Oliver urged Shania to leave the car. He ignored her question, not because he wanted to, but because he was too tired to discuss it. His mind was still preoccupied with his father’s words.
