Chapter 37 Shattered

• “Damn it! Damn you, Nicole!” Shania slammed a decorative item off the table, sending shards of it scattering across the floor. Her face was a clear picture of fury. Nicole’s words were the spark that ignited Shania’s anger. She truly regretted going to see Nicole. If she hadn’t been looking for Oliver, there was no way she would have visited Nicole.
• “Damn it all!” Shania cursed repeatedly. She was in her room, which was a mess because she had been venting her rage. She had wanted to grab Nicole by the hair, but she had restrained herself. She didn’t want to get into a huge fight with Nicole, because she was still thinking about her father. No matter what, Shania shared blood with Nicole.
• “Oh my God, Shania, why is your room such a disaster?” Erica entered Shania’s room, shocked at the state of it. Broken glass was everywhere. She had been so sure that her daughter’s room was perfectly tidy.
