• “D-Dad?” Shania’s eyes widened in shock as she saw her father enter her hospital room. Tears streamed down her cheeks at the sight of him standing before her. She tried to reach for his hand, but the icy fire in Mayir’s sharp gaze made her shrink back, too afraid to touch him.

If your mother is rotten at heart, why must you follow in her footsteps?!” Mayir’s roar echoed through the room, his fury burning without restraint.
