Chapter 17 The Incident In The Elevator

• Nicole let out a long sigh as she read the text message from Shania. It was the address of the wedding venue she needed to visit. Nicole had to join Shania and Oliver to tour yet another wedding venue. Honestly, she wished Sadie could go in her place, but last night Shania had refused to be accompanied by anyone but Nicole. So, once again, Nicole had no choice but to go with Shania and Oliver.
• Nicole hoped that this would finally be the last venue Shania and Oliver would consider. She couldn’t wait for them to get married—mainly because she was desperate to return to Switzerland. She couldn’t stand being in London any longer—the city was a minefield of painful memories she had no desire to relive.
