• “Grandpa, it looks like there’s no one here.” Shawn scanned the area, sharpening his focus, making sure there truly was no one else around.
• Shawn stood behind William, determined to protect his grandfather. Even though William didn’t want to be protected, Shawn still felt responsible. Especially since his grandfather wasn’t as tough as he used to be.
• William clicked his tongue in frustration. “Just wait—those guards are fired! They’re so stupid to have let thieves get in!” he growled angrily. This time, William couldn’t tolerate it. The guards at his mansion were so careless that thieves had managed to slip in.
