• Samuel sat in his grand chair, reviewing the report just delivered by his assistant. His eyes were sharp and meticulous, exuding authority. In front of him lay a report on the cases currently being handled by Oliver.
• Even though Oliver now had full control of the law firm, Samuel still reviewed everything his eldest son managed. It wasn’t a matter of distrust—Samuel simply didn’t want his son to run into trouble. Working in law required the utmost precision.
