Chapter 11 Damn Bastard!

• Nicole blinked several times as sunlight touched her face. Slowly, she massaged her head, the throbbing pain pounding in her skull. She squeezed her eyes shut again and again, trying to ease the ache.
• “Ssssh, my head hurts so much.” Nicole winced, eyes still closed, her hands pressing her temples in hopes of dulling the pain.
• After a while, as the headache began to subside, she opened her eyes and glanced around the unfamiliar room. Instantly, Nicole’s expression changed as she realized she was in a strange hotel room.
