• “Honey.” Erica walked over to Mayir, who was sitting on the sofa in their bedroom. She brought him a cup of hot coffee with milk. Before coming in, Erica had gone to the kitchen to make her husband his favorite warm drink.
• “Here, drink this. I made you some hot coffee with milk.” Erica sat beside Mayir, handing him the cup. Mayir accepted it and took a slow sip.
• “Honey, you still haven’t told me how your meeting with Nicole went. Did you go through with the plan to set her up with your friend’s son?” Erica asked eagerly. She’d been waiting to hear news about Nicole’s arranged match.
