Chapter 9 Senior Brother

• "I didn't intentionally meet him, Julian. I just knew that the client's last name was Ainsley when she requested a meeting; I was unaware that she was actually Mandy Ainsley and that she would be bringing Luke Jenkins along," Susan remarked quietly. Julian felt better after hearing her nuanced answer. He gave Susan an expressionless gaze. "If you see those two people next time, please turn around and leave right away, understand?" Julian instantly added, "Hmph, knowing your level of promiscuity, you might just get involved with them," after realizing that it sounded like he was envious. In any case, this won't make the Shaw family seem bad."
• Susan noticed Julian lounging on the sofa after getting dressed. "Julian, have you eaten your dinner?" she said gently. Why don't I prepare our meal? collectively?" She didn't enjoy having lots of people around, and neither did Julian. As a result, they had no maids at home, and Susan prepared their meals herself, with the exception of the part-time cleaners who came over to clean the house. "Is your cooking edible?" • He acted as though he didn't care, though. "Alright then." After half an hour, supper was ready. There were 4 courses plus a bowl of soup. "Wanna give it a try?" Susan said, looking eagerly at Julian. "Which dishes are these? Before he took a bite of garlic eggplant, Julian said indignantly, "They don't look appetizing at all." "What's causing this eggplant to taste so salty?" There is no flavor to this melon soup." It appears that the honey ribs are not cooked to the proper temperature. "Humans cannot consume these." Julian whined while eating, much to her pleasure.
