Chapter 49 Put An End To

  • "How much time will you be there? Does it feel particularly cozy in my arms? Julian replied quietly, lowering his head. "What a narcissist!" Susan sulked as she spoke. "Or should I say that you're afraid of seeing your ex-boyfriend getting married and will be too sad till you cry, so you'd rather not watch?" "Susan, the wedding is going to be a long night," Julian shot back calmly. You cannot continue to hide in this manner. Susan bit her bottom lip as her thoughts were revealed. But she would not weep with sorrow. Simply put, they were forced to part ways after having a passionate love affair. Her heart would undoubtedly hurt to see Luke get married.
  • However, she thought it would be embarrassing to show up at this event. But if she kept hiding, it would just make her appear suspicious, as Julian had previously stated. After giving it some thought, Susan decided she shouldn't remain in his arms. But he changed his position when she moved. She lay down in his hug after he turned around and applied force with his arm. "Hey, you..." She began to struggle. Julian bent his head and murmured in her ear, "Keep wriggling if you want to steal the newlyweds' limelight."
  • Susan froze. She gazed at the close newlyweds after leaning against him. Mandy and Luke were approaching cautiously. Mandy was happy from ear to ear today while wearing an opulent bridal gown. Luke's face, meanwhile, was grim and severe. Anybody who saw these newlyweds would compliment them on their appearance. A complicated light flashed in Susan's eyes as she bit her bottom lip. That man had previously declared his intention to marry Susan and no one else. That man had previously promised to give her the most extravagant wedding imaginable. Unfortunately, that was all in the past.
