Chapter 130 Absent

  • Without a torchlight, it was impossible to see anything in the cave since it was so dark. As Susan Shelby rotated the torchlight in her fingers, she saw that the cave's walls weren't the only entrances. Susan was astounded by the spectacle. It actually consisted of a vast network of tunnels. It was also lucky that a safe route had previously been found by the Jenkins Corporation employees. Otherwise, if someone entered the wrong tunnel, it would be extremely impossible for them to find an exit on their own.
  • "Follow me closely, everyone, or you'll get lost." "Check the wall on the right in case you are inadvertently left behind," the leader said. As we walk, I'll be sprinkling bioluminescent powder on the wall. Anyone can follow the bioluminescent powder to catch up to the group. Everyone nodded with enthusiastic emotions. If there were just two or three persons in a cave expedition like this, it was considered to be rather scary. But now that there was such a big crowd, someone had figured out the right route. It was more like an enjoyable, risk-free excursion. The group ventured on down the route under the leader's guidance.
  • Drops of water splashed and trickled down the slick granite wall. Occasionally, they would come across a small water puzzle that sparked their curiosity. Ten minutes or so later, the leader declared, "The mural's expansive region is located up ahead. Everyone is welcome to go ahead and see." A mural? Susan's eyes suddenly glowed. Her main reason for going on this trip was to do this. Susan and the others quickly made their way around the space. The mural was just as Chance Hamilton and Alya Rogers had previously described.
