• "Yeah, Susan Shelby." Charlotte gave Luke an odd look. "Why are you so surprised, brother? "You know Susan?" she questioned plainly. She didn't believe her brother would be involved with Susan after all. "I've seen her a few times when I was with Mandy." "Mandy and I thought that she was one of Julian's women, but we never thought that...she'd be married to him," Luke said after stifling his surprise. "Susan... is Julian's wife." Suddenly, Luke was preoccupied. In his thoughts, he heard a clear voice. "I feel so thrilled right now, Luke, but I'm also a bit afraid. Do you believe that our relationship will last a lifetime?

The truth will come to me sooner or later. Susan's past isn't quite spotless either. She was on the verge of marrying her former boyfriend before she married Julian. Charlotte spoke those words. "Ex-boyfriend?" Luke's hand shook abruptly. He sensed the eruption of the truth. "I've already looked into Susan's information, so why didn't I find this?" Charlotte responded, "Someone tempered with something," while nodding icily.
