Chapter 61 Good Friends

• For the longest period, Susan Shelby slept peacefully. She dreamed that she was a child again. As usual, she forced the small guy to join her in singing while humming a melody. "Is that some kind of messed-up song? It's the worst. I refuse to sing it. Arrogantly, the little lad cocked his head to the side. She persisted in bothering him. She assumed that, as was his custom, the small kid would turn her away. However, once he grumbled about it, she didn't anticipate that he would actually follow her to hum the song.
• "The tiny spider scaled the water feature." He didn't sing it in a nice voice or with the right melody. But the soft melody was always playing in her head. After a while, Susan simply calmed down. She slept so well that she had a little grin on her lips when she woke up the next day. She jerked slightly when she woke up. Julian Shaw responded right away. "Are you awake?" Before Susan realized she was actually lying in Julian's arm curl, she was momentarily stunned. Subconsciously, she struggled and flushed. "Hmm.” Julian could not help frowning just so little. Susan inquired, her voice a little nervous, "What's wrong?"
• With helplessness, Julian murmured, "My hand is numb." "I'm... I apologize." Susan's face became crimson. She quickly extended her hands to assist in massaging Julian's arm muscles. Just as she was about to approach him, Julian abruptly put his arm around her and held her in his arms once again. Immediately, Susan rested on his chest and dared not move. She struggled a little after a long time. "Jul... Julian?" "Don't move." Julian's voice has a deep quality. "However..." Susan continued to shift. "You will be held accountable for any repercussions if you relocate again." Julian gave her a fierce look. "Repercussions?" "What are the repercussions?" Susan looked down and blinked naively. Her cheeks suddenly became crimson.
