Chapter 22 The Greatest No 1 Idiot
- Julian's expression brightened. "Susan has actually fallen asleep because it's so late." After getting clean, Julian lay down on the bed. A warm body rolled into his arms as soon as he had settled himself on the mattress. He was pleasantly delighted but still in shock. "Susan?" Surely, he thought, that was Susan. His steady breath soon turned into a pant. "Are you aware of what you're doing, Susan?" The quiet was broken by his voice, and that guy immediately stopped moving. But shortly thereafter, she kept getting closer.
- Julian couldn't resist giving her body a hug. He scowled as a perfumed scent entered his nostrils just as he was ready to roll over. 'Something's not right. Susan never wears perfume. Her body smells of grass all the time. Susan isn't here! An angry jolt ran through Julian's heart, and he turned on the lights. Isla was shocked since she had not anticipated the lights being switched on so abruptly. She leaped to sit next to the bed and gave Julian a sweet grin. She cooed, "Chairman Shaw," as she removed her shoulder strap to show off her dazzlingly pale shoulders. Julian Shaw was not an exception to Isla's belief that no guy could withstand her allure.
- A chilly scowl sprang into Julian's eyes as he became aware of her seductive movements. He approached her. Isla was mistaken, and her eyes lit up with happiness. "Julian is unable to resist the temptation at all." He mercilessly strangled her by the neck with one hand as she attempted to climb on top of him. "Identify yourself to me! Susan is where? How have you treated her? Julian was unforgiving. Isla began to struggle for breath as his hands felt like iron bands. He was progressively tightening his hold, which shocked her. She made an effort to break free of his hold. Then he took a long breath and let her go. "Tell me!"
