Chapter 113 Conflict

  • Lily could not help but fear since Susan's comments were incisive and her face was composed. How could she possibly be aware of an old African totem? Susan's design served as the basis for her complete creation! Lily responded, "Oh yeah, I remember now," after attempting to calm herself. I nearly forgot about this old African totem for a moment. "Oh, really?" "Too bad then, since I was just kidding around," Susan grinned. To begin with, there was no old African tribe. This floor mat design is from Warfel Co. Ltd.'s 2014 collection. I included the shapes in my design because I thought they gave a really intriguing sense of mystery.
  • Some had already started looking online as Susan was speaking. The throng soon resumed their cacophony. "It really is." "It actually is the old edition released by Warfel Co. Ltd." "Ancient African totem, this is hilarious; forgot my ass." They talked quietly while they gave Lily filthy looks. "Wow," Chance grinned and said. "Lily, not bad; you can even recognize an ancient African totem from an ordinary floor mat." "Susan Shelby!" Lily sent Susan a humiliated stare."You lied to me."
  • "I lied to you?" Susan sneered icily, "Why would you fall for such a clumsy ploy if this idea is truly your own? I own this design, Lily! You are the one who plagiarized." Stop talking nonsense!" Lily went into a panic. "I didn't copy anything. Everyone can see that my work is superior to yours just by examining ours. Susan said, "Yes, that's true," and nodded. "My work has been improved upon in the design you supplied. But I don't think you're capable of producing such high-caliber work. Unfortunately, someone provided you with behind-the-scenes assistance. Everyone's eyes were on Sheldon. Despite the slightly chilly temperature, Sheldon's forehead was drenched with perspiration.
