Chapter 174 The Grand Event Is What?
- "Red is nice." It's a holiday," Julian said. Before long, Susan was unable to speak. She looked very lovely and endearing in her full red dress. Julian, however, remarked that it was joyous. She could not help but think of the sorts of plump babies that wore red garments on the Christmas posters that she saw. 'Forget it! I will not put up with a man who has no romantic sensibilities. In private, Susan grumbled about it before boarding the vehicle. At this point, Breeze Manor was a hive of activity. It was an uncommon sight. Numerous opulent vehicles quickly occupied five or six of the manor's parking spaces.
- They were as busy as bees, the waiters and waitresses. To manage such a large and extravagant gathering, there were around one hundred waiters and cooks. When Julian and Susan arrived at the manor, it was deemed early for them as the host and hostess. At eight o'clock at night, the celebration would start. At six o'clock in the evening, they arrived at the location. Surprisingly, many of the guests arrived much earlier than they did. As soon as they arrived, the others greeted them with joyful smiles. "Mr. Shaw, this is the first time you're hosting a party. Do you have anything essential to announce to the others?” A middle-aged man questioned Julian with a smile.
- "Yes." Julian gave a serious nod. "Last night, my wife, Susan, took first place in the design competition." Julian said that proudly. They burst into joyful laughter. "Congratulations, Mrs. Shaw.” The others congratulated Susan as they turned to face her. They were forced to ask, "Is there anything else?" after that. "Anything else?" Julian frowned slightly. "Just nothing else." Susie's triumph was definitely the reason for the celebration. "You're not being cool about it, Mr. Shaw. They said, "How could you have kept the truth from us until now?"
