Chapter 42 Susan's Gigolo

• "What is it?" When Mandy looked in the direction Charlotte had been looking, she noticed someone who annoyed her! "Susan Shelby!" Mandy tightened her jaw. "Do you know her?" Charlotte was amazed. Mandy could not have known Susan from what she knew. "Not at all. I've seen her a couple times. Mandy only stated, "She has some relationship with Julian Shaw," but there was a hint of sadness in her eyes. Charlotte had been overseas when the events involving Luke and Susan occurred. She was therefore unaware that they were dating, and Mandy had no intention of telling her.
• Charlotte said, "Oh," but her heart was racing with suspicion. It was clear from Mandy's reaction that she had seen Susan more than once. But that did not appeal to Charlotte. She narrowed her eyes. "Wasn't there a man beside Susan just now?" "Yes." A grin appeared on Mandy's lips as she teasingly said, "She's really a sl*t." "Let’s go and have a look." Charlotte was on her feet already. Naturally, Mandy didn't disagree.
• They both slipped out of the dessert shop and followed in stealth. Charlotte's eyes were constantly fluttering as she followed. This man and Susan appeared to have a close relationship. In addition to holding his hand, she occasionally gave him a charming grin. This was a long cry from the terrified look on her face while she was with Julian. Following them, Charlotte watched Susan lead Jacob inside a men's clothing store and try on a coat. She quickly pulled out her phone and took a couple pictures. "What are you doing?" Mandy asked quietly. Charlotte's eyes glowed with a hint of light.
