Chapter 180 Restitution
- Julian's assurance made Susan feel a bit better. She still felt uneasy, though, as though she had a thorn in her heart every time she thought of Isabelle. In any case, she decided to believe Julian. She was positive that he would never harm her and that he must have a personal motive for keeping it from her. She was therefore prepared to put the issue to rest when Julian assured her that he would no longer communicate with Isabelle. When she woke up the following morning, Julian was already gone. Then she went down. Susan could only see the maids rushing around, as Madam Shaw had not yet woken up.
- "Do you see Julian?" she inquired, stopping a servant. "Mr. Shaw went for a morning run," was the kind response from the servant. He'll probably return shortly. "Morning run?" Susan was taken aback. Only when he was upset did Julian go for a morning run. It seems that Julian was also impacted by the events of yesterday. "I'll go check him out." Susan left the house after that. Julian's eyebrows were raised when he noticed a figure approaching him from a distance when he was returning from his morning exercise.
- "Mr. Shaw," Isabelle said, her eyes gleaming at the sight of Julian. She accelerated and approached him. Julian remarked in a low, icy voice, "You're early." "Madam Shaw tends to have serious migraines when she wakes up in the morning, so I have been coming here very early lately to give her a massage," Isabelle said quietly, as if she had not noticed how flat and icy his voice was. Julian's expression was emotionless as he gazed at her. "Isabelle, remember that my patience has its limit," he stated in a cold voice. You should never touch something, even if you're Little Flower.
