• As they entered the room, Georgie sat on the sofa while Danny hurried with the first aid kit. He disinfected the cuts and then bandaged his boss’ palm before dropping the kit. “You shouldn't have done that.”
• “Only if I had a knife…if I had even seen a gun, I'd have her dead. She has done a lot.” Georgie snapped back at him. “I don't ever want to imagine how Shannon was struggling in that canter…..a pregnant woman, and you want to claim that Tracy is a human.”
• Danny sniffled, “I didn't say so. I was just scared that she would die and you would be imprisoned because her family wouldn't let it slide.”
