• Through the half-shut window, the sun's rays streamed into the room. Georgie slowly opened his eyes, releasing a deep breath. He shut it again and turned to his side. When he reopened his eyes, the glittering face of Shannon, who was sleeping peacefully, radiated on his face.
• He sniffed and ran his finger to her hair, adjusting the ones that had covered her face backwards so he could get a clearer view of what she looked like while sleeping like a baby. He winked, getting rid of the tiny blur that hovered in his eyes. “She looks so pretty while sleeping. Mother of six? I won't believe it if I wasn't his husband……” he thought and chuckled.
