• It was 9 p.m., yet Georgie wasn't yet back from the office. Tracy had queried the servants in the house, including the security personnel, yet no one had heard from him. She did not have Danny's number, and if she had it, she wouldn't have the courage to reach out to him.
• After so many times of trying to contact Georgie and it was unavailable, she decided to reach out to Maverick as the only one she had to ask for help. 9 pm was a lot for an office worker to be late out. She had wondered if he decided not to return home, or was he in a hotel or club?
• Nothing made sense to her. She had known the type of man Georgie was and didn't believe he would be out there in a club or hotel with some sort of woman.
